“Decentralized Society: Finding Web3’s Soul“, co-authored by Ethereum cofounder Vitalik Buterin is a paper illustrating how SBTs will assist and encode the trust networks of the real economy within Web3 to establish provenance and reputation.
The paper also postulates that SBTs will enable other applications, such as community wallet recovery, mechanisms for decentralisation, shared rights and more.

Rollups are one of four off-chain scaling solutions for the Ethereum blockchain, and there are two primary contenders and a varying assortment of other promising theoretical designs.
Optimistic rollups have been on mainnet longer than zk-rollups – earning them the vast majority of rollup applications. However, there appears to be a more significant number of zk-rollups in active development than optimistic rollups. Andre Cronje, prolific DeFi developer, comments on crypto regulation by jurisdiction, where he believes it’s headed, and where the industry has failed previously. Cronje believes that “depending on the product in question and the desired jurisdiction and market exposure, advice on the appropriate product “packaging” may differ“.
